Today I am proud to announce that I am releasing my first WordPress theme in 2 years, it’s called Dollars and it’s a premium WordPress theme based on the fantastic WooCommerce plugin from the guys at WooThemes. It is also the first project that I am releasing over at Simon Makes.
For the past two years I haven’t released any new WordPress themes as I focused on client projects and building up my WordPress skills further. But I missed it, I missed making products that people then bought and used and so I decided a few months ago to get back into building themes and I have plans for some other projects too (unrelated and related to WordPress), so stay tuned for news on those.
WooCommerce arrived a little under 1 year ago, and the second I downloaded it was the second I decided that I wanted to build a theme on it, it’s ease of use couldn’t be compared to any similar system out there at the time and I quickly started getting my clients to use it in favour of other systems. As a result, in the past year I have built multiple sites on top of WooCommerce and have been very pleased with how easy it has been to work with.
So Dollars is the result of a year of building sites on WooCommerce, you can check out the Dollars WooCommerce Theme here, it’s priced at $60 per site license and is packed full of great features but is not overloaded and over bloated (my themes will be kept simple and clean).
New article over at Design Delight, in this one I feature some of the nicest hotel web designs and look at the best practices for designing such websites. Check it out.
It was a fantastic event with a sold out audience enjoying the fantastic music from the choir and friends. For full details on the concert you can go here for a write up, and for more details on our involvement with the choir, you can go here.
So here are the videos of the choir singing, enjoy.
Today, a few members of the Evergreen PA team went down to the Yorkshire Lions training ground to provide the players of Yorkshire Lions with their brand new kits.
The Yorkshire Lions are two football clubs (under 11′s and under 12′s) based in Huddersfield. Both teams play in the junior league but neither have full football kits. As sponsors of the Yorkshire Lions, our first task was to change that. Both teams were provided with brand new football kits the day before they played a game in their league. This is just the start of this project, there is a lot of equipment the Yorkshire Lions need and we hope to continue to find funds to help them with this.
Kaizer took the opportunity to talk to a few of the players, they talked about how they’d like to grow up to be professional footballers and keep out of trouble, get a good education and listen to their coaches. In a world where the youth get a bad name associated with them, we at Evergreen PA feel it is important to remember that the youth aren’t all bad, these children really prove our point.
